Most comfortable ground pad of my entire damn life
This thing is fantastically comfortable. It's really wide and the v-shape baffles work some kind of magic. I've been sleeping outside for 30 years and I can't remember being this comfortable on a pad. That being said, it takes some practice to roll it up perfectly and you are also in danger of puncturing the pad and then having to repair a leak. I probably wouldn't use it in the desert for that reason (too many small sharp things everywhere) but otherwise it's SO GOOD.This thing is fantastically comfortable. Best camp mattress ever...
The Klymit Static V Luxe air pad is by far the best backpacking camp mattress I have ever used. I am a very big dude, and this thing keeps me comfortable all night long. It's easy to inflate. However, I'm still getting the hang of rolling it back up while getting completely deflating it. It is well made and sturdy. It is not insulated, so understand this is primarily for use in warmer weather. Get the insulated version if you're planning an excursion involving cold weather. Includes a stuff sack and repair kit.The Klymit Static V Luxe air pad is by far the best backpacking camp mattress I have ever used. Super Sleep.. no refilling air during the night
Just got back from the Grand canyon with a party of five - highly reccomend - easy to inflate quickly, lost "0" air over five days. Everyone loved their pad and all slept soundly... Thank You Klymit - looking forward to our next camping trip. Oh, and packs super small we had four novices to camping, all took care of their own pad with no problems.

I gambled on this product and won
I am 56 years old and feel that a good nights sleep is indispensable to maintain one's emotional well-being. I have found European style beds, with a latex mattress and organic fiber topper, support my body the best and allow me to sleep profoundly - unlike American spring mattresses, manufactured with a 'one size fits all' mentality. However, I wasn't going to be able to take my latex mattress to Japan for two weeks. I knew I was going to be staying at budget hotels and anticipated the hotel mattresses might be on the cheap side. I bought the KLYMIT pad hoping it might make the difference between sleepless nights (tossing and turning, frustration and bad mood in the morning) and the ability to rest solidly for a few hours to feel re-freshened in order to face the physical demands of ... I am 56 years old and feel that a good nights sleep is indispensable to maintain one's emotional well-being. I inflated my KLYMIT mattress...though I got dizzy trying to inflate it. However, it was well worth the effort. I slept solidly, more than 5 hours a night, I was grateful for the pad's performance. I did fold up the hotel comforter to place over the KLYMIT as extra padding, but KLYMIT pad was the primary reason I was able to sleep well. I am very grateful for this product and that it came through for me. I will take this pad on future travels, or will use it on the unsleepable, sofa, pull-out mattress when visitors come to stay. I am VERY grateful for this product, and recommend it highly.

Great Pad
i bought this pad for a 6 day 56 mile hike, i have had many other types of pads but none as comfortable, lightweight and compact size in the bag. i bought the factory refurbished model and will likely buy this model in the future.
