I took this pad camping at two different TN state parks this past weekend. Even tho the temps dipped into the low 40’s at night the pad stayed nice and warm. High marks for the R value!! It inflates very easily (10-11 full breaths?) and deflates easily as well for re-packing. The only negative is that it did not come with a patch/repair that I think it was supposed to. I would really like one, as I plan to use this pad when hiking the Georgia section of the AT in February.

I was a bit worried at first that the item may contain holes, but it blew up and deflated very nicely and I'm extremely happy with my choice to buy refurbished. The shipping was fast (2-3 days) and Klymit was in touch with me from day one to reassure me my package was on the way. Would highly recommend this product!

    Excellent Lightweight Pad but Only 1.9 R-Value. AMSI

    This pad is an excellent lightweight pad and has held up well going on three years of use. Taking off a star however, as Klymit needs to get their R-Values in line with industry standards. Their reported R Value of 4.2, versus the actual certified ASTM R Value of 1.9 is a huge variance, and this is not disclosed on many of their advertising sites. I’m okay with it as I do not hike in severe weather, but I’m not so sure they have any business marketing this as a “winter ready 3-4 season pad when it had an actual R Value of less than 2.

    Hard to air up

    It worked but....the valve doesn't act right and kept losing air even in the locked position. Had a hard time getting it aired up and we were back country camping so just had to keep blowing.
