    Exactly what you need for an SSD in a Z600!

    The built-in drive cages in the Z600 are awesome if you have a 3.5" drive (like a normal spinning disk), but SSDs are too small. This adapter fits inside the caddy and makes sure everything lines up perfectly. Worked like a charm the first time.

    Probably a very bad imiration (it is not an HP part)

    It is probably a not very good attempt to reproduce a real product (or, more precisely, a part of it). I have purchased two of them. One did not make any troubles yet (but I plan already to replace it and put it in trash). The second one did not want to work from the beginning. If it was pushed stronger, it could connect via its external connector (where additional analysis discovered a hidden problem), but will loose the contact again. This was not something one can expect, and was very frustrating.It has an internal disconnection/crack on its track or a partially-soldered external connector. I needed it quickly and did not have another part, thus using a soldering iron I was able to make it work for now, before a real part will be delivered. Stay away from it, if you do not want ...

    Exactly what you need for a workstation computer

    An excellent caddy used particularly in HP machines like mine. It was packaged perfectly, still had every OEM marking on it and came with an included set of screws. Generally speaking, it's really easy to install and use and comes very handy when you're a conscious system builder trying to work with low power, high performance drives.

    Genuine HP product

    This is the exact same adapter that can be found in some tower models provided by HP. It will fit with any 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD and convert it to a common 3.5" SATA form factor, so it can fit in any tower of various brands, not just HP.

    Excellent Product & Seller

    It was shipped immediately and came in early. I mounted my SSD in the adapter bracket, plugged it in and it worked flawlessly. Just like the one from HP, but costs a lot less. One note: the small screws that came with the adapter bracket did not fit my Samsung SSD, so if they don't fit yours you need to get the right ones rather than forcing these to fit.
