Hobie Pro Angler rail mount for lowrance
Greetings to all and I hope this review is helpful to some potential purchasers. I bought this Ram tough claw (small) to mount my lowrance elite 7 fish finder on my 2013 hobie pro angler 14 kayak which doesn't have the h rails. I have my lowrance mounted on the ram universal mount with a 1" ball. I have a 4" double socket arm to connect lowrance to tough claw. This is a solid mount and the 1" ball holds this unit. I recommend the 1.5" ball for the larger fish fiinders but I was hoping this would be solid and it is so I will stick with it. Now I don't have to buy the h rail upgrade kit to have a moveable mount. Strong and convenient.
Unlike an other mount devices this one a metal made. So.. strong quality against broke. A rubberized ball of mount is good against vibration. The convenience to quick attachment may be used on bike, motorized wheelchair or any other places where is any tube hand-holder like in my commercial truck cabin.

GoPro clamp mount!
Love RAM products already but this clamp adds versatility to my RAM system. I’ll be using it for an additional way to mount my GoPro to my motorcycle. Fits perfectly on my engine guards for a different point of view. Very sturdy and not concerned about losing my GoPro when In use! Allows multiple mounting options for other uses. RAM Tough-Claw
I had to get this to go with my RAM X-Grip after I got a new motorcycle with larger handlebars (1.5 inch diameter) and the U bolt that came with the unit stock no longer fit. This fits securely and I can't wait to try it out on a longer ride! Overpriced as most RAM products are, but you get what you pay for.
